I recently had the thought of making one of two systems for use in the paranormal field. The first being a multi-directional mounted camcorder system. Using a standard tri-pod as a base, a device could be built to house four separate camcorders each recording in their appointed direction. The device could be attached to the tri-pod's mounting plate as does a normal single application camcorder. The advantages of using a multi-directional system would that one would be able to record approximately 360 degrees in any given location. Each camcorder can even have it's own designated settings (ie. one for use in standard 0 lux nightshot, another in normal settings, etc...). Now the second system would be similar to the first although it would entail only a single camcorder rigged to an emf sensitive motion device. Once a stationary EMF unit (preferrably a multi-axis) went above a designated milliGauss the camcorder mounted atop a 360 degree motion plate would be triggered automatically and adjust to the particular location of the emf fluxuation. I have begun construction plans on both devices for a trial and error approach. If anyone has any suggestions or comments please feel free to let me know.
He all , although not all on topic I noticed the insertion of a photo of "orbs" on the site , Being the photo person as in who to go to I need to get across to all mthose who worship mthe mighty orb . While orbs MAY BE a sign of paranormal activity it just as likely might also be a bit of dust , pollen . or just about anything else ! Unfortunatly as our friend Jason from T.A.P.S. will tell you " I am not impressed by orbs." which in my humble opinion is a great way of looking nat orbs photograghs or film be it photographs from film or digital origions. even video tape has the same problems be it film or digital. . Fact of the matter is simply that just about anything that can be carried by the air can indeed show up on various medias as "ORBS" and lots of them ! ! ! In my humble opinion the only time one can take orbs as a sign of anything paranormal is when seen live and in person and never second hand as in film or photos camera footage digital or otherwise. That is not to say that ALL photos of orbs are fake or dust . It is to say that any photo showing orbs MAY be simply dust or a bug ! That being said I personally never give any weight to orbs unless I myself have seen them 1st hand and seen them change directions several times contrary to the prevailing air currents... Only then do I even seriously consider that the orbs MAY be paranormal in origion... The only reason for inclusion of the 'orbs' photo in the gallery was to show how simple it is to mistake a natural occurrance for a paranormal one. In this case a camera set to a long exposure prior to a rain storm. There was moisture in the air, which was then reflected by the camera's flash due to the exposure.
